The House Natural Resources Committee today passed legislation authored by Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) to protect cranes throughout North America and the world. A companion bill authored by Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) has been introduced in the Senate. It's really been an exhilarating couple of days for me and, I'm sure, for all Wisconsin Democrats. Two weeks after 22 states held their primaries and caucuses on one day, it's so exciting that right now Wisconsin matters in such a big way.
